quick set nets

hi ive just been watching glyn waters longnetting dvd and he uses quick set nets but as ive seen from pics on here you use a basket to hold the net as he just tyes it up is that better or is the basket ?? and when your geting the net in as ive seen the rest drags along the floor and im just wondering doesnt it pick up alot of shit ??

i use a basket there very good not saying his method isnt though because i havnt done it that way

i would imagine dragging a net along the ground will pick up whatever shite is in the way.

how do you find them ? ive got a 50yard normal one i use in the day mostly but wouldnt mine a 100 yard quick set for night work

its down to your own choices...... a quickset net is soon reverted back to a traditional net
