Ideation 8,216
ftb - look at the dog mate, the head / muzzle and body shape and the ears . . . . and the tail. . . . . Quote Link to post
fcuktheban 140
ftb - look at the dog mate, the head / muzzle and body shape and the ears . . . . and the tail. . . . . Yes I do see it but looking at the parents if their is collie in it it couldn't be much. The pups muzzle resembles the sires muzzle. It's still young and has some shaping up to do so hard to go by the body shape just yet. I've seen plenty of silly bat ears on whippets and the tail can just be a proud pup. Does the pup always carry it's tail in the air? Quote Link to post
KittleRox 2,147
Honest opinion seeing as I have the dug in question if I may I would describe my pup as a sighthond with some brain and nose which is I believe yer typical traits of a whippet, she stands with her tail tucked right under her belly when she,s being submissive as do the parents, having had experience of sighthoundy types and collie types, my own dogs, mates dogs and the 4 or 5 which my Mum had as pets to me she speaks whippet as I have said before lets just say whippet which MAY have had collie in it a few gens back, at the end of the day who gives a fxck ? its my dug and I,m happy, fxck it, think I,ll start an eu thread Question for you Jai, where did the bat lugs come fae ? Ideation 8,216
Alright buddy, i'm just messing with you, i really like that dog and she looks mainly whippet, i just think its possible that a good few gens back there is a dash of collie in the line that has come out a little in your pup, well at least going by the pictures i see. The bat ears are a whippet thing i think, but i was meaning more the shape of the ears, they are more rounded than i would have expected. ANd the tail is a little 'bushier' than i would have thought. Then again, just for the record i'm making out like there is more collie traits than i see, because it winds you up pal. In the flesh she probably looks like a whippet, and quite probably if she was not black and white i would never have said any of this. What height is she? What ever the feck she is, i'd have her happily! Quote Link to post
KittleRox 2,147
aye you wind me up when you get out the wrong side me thinks lol sure the bat ears come fae the french bulldug, I read it somewhere never measured her but she does look bigger in the pics Quote Link to post
fcuktheban 140
This is a whippet and has similar features including the bit of bushiness on the tail. http://www.flickr.com/photos/littlecrumb/sets/72157603259541722/with/2571663893 Quote Link to post
