secretagentmole 1,701
Buy a shooting cushion rest, quite a few suppliers do them, all the advantages of a bipod, but you use your hand, so the recoil is controlled, used one with my springers! I have fired a Theoben gas rammed BSA Supersport, it just seems to kick back, not as bad as a spring letting loose! Quote Link to post
bigmac 97kt 13,776
cushion,s are good but a bit of a faff to carry around with you moley but mint at setting your scopes or for plinking . Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
You can get them with belt loop clips! If you fill them with bean bag filling they are also light enough to carry round all day as well! Edited August 26, 2011 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
It's a big no I'm afraid. The trick to shooting a springer, or gas ram, accurately is consistency. Consistency of aim, consistency of trigger pull and most importantly consistency of rest. A bi-pod, or any other rest that changes, will give you problems. You might well get the rifle to zero on a grass bank, and then you try and shoot off a hard surface and the point of impact will change totally. Quote Link to post
vizlauk 1,568
hi iv got a hw90 and i use a barrel bipod on it the 90 gas ram does have one hell of a kick back if you use the bipod pull the gun tight into your shoulder be fore you fire just practice with it untill you get it right and get a clamp down bipod mine is a turn screw type and it slackens off after a few shots. im having bother with mine at the moment but its not the bipod its the scopes iv had the same one on my 97,s with no trouble at all just get to no your gun and how she reacts and learn practice makes perfect hope this helps ,mac Jimmy after reading a few reply's the lads have posted on here, the problem might well be the bipod on your gun mate, If you think about it, one minute your hitting the targets spot on , then there going haywire, I do remember saying the other night that the bipod was no good on your hw90 - you know yourself how it kicks & twists on the bipod , you may have found the answer to your problem ! Sell ya 90 & stick with the scorpion t10 Quote Link to post
