Ideation 8,216
Was walking the dog today along some lanes, and was passing a large garden. The owner was out mowing his lawn and i saw him watching me walk by. I could see he was getting ready to say something to me . . . . . . and it was more pleasant than i expected! Apparently his garden is rabbit fenced, but someone had let a bunny in, and said bunny had set up it's new home on his lawn. He asked if i could sort it out (now why would he possibly think that?). Went in and Finn confirmed that bunny was home. Anyway, popped home and got Socks, a kit from last year, bred by my ferreting partner Johnnyboy68. Collared her up, netted up the three holes, dropped the ferret down, instant bumping and a nice healthy bunny pursed perfectly in the net. . . . . . just as my cup of tea was ready. It took longer to drink the tea than the whole ferreting session. But one happy gardener, one happy me (for not having to explain how i was going to have to dig a hole in his lawn), and a momentarily amused dog and ferret. Socks - Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
It's funny mate, it's never crossed my mind, but i might just do that now! Need to give it some new straps, the current one, is a piece of an old barbour jacket that has been on it longer than i been on this planet. Was thinking of putting two webbing straps on, so i can wear it back pack style, i swear it's the heaviest box ever! Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
Aye the ferret was a bit miffed i think. KR - Aye mate, if bunny heaven is inside the 8 stinkers in the main court then aye it's there. Isa - I've not forgot about that PM mate, and there were def no more in that set, as the ferret came out and the dog was no longer interested. Quote Link to post
