I guess that' s the rub. Consequence of actions and all that. Am I responsible for the actions of the non law abiding owner? I'm not sure about the laws but if someone was walking their dog on a footpath near your property and the dog ran off and received an injury due to your trap I would think the owner would have some sort of recourse.
