scothunter 12,609 Posted August 26, 2011 Report Share Posted August 26, 2011 whats wrong with selling working dogs on a hunting site as for peddlers i would rather buy a pup of an experienced breeder who knows how to rear a litter than get one for free off some one who hasnt a clue nothing wrong with that mate.the point is the lads who are churning them out just for the cash.or they get bored with them and the poor cur is kicked from pillar to post.no one wants to see that. If all the dogs in a certain area were only, and these examples are for demonstration only, youd have Pye lines in some hotbeds, Golly lines in another area, terminator lines in another area etc, etc,. Pretty soon they'd all end up looking like the canine equivelant of that banjo player in Deliverance. . Its a brilliant opportunity for us genuine lads to use or at least have access to other, tried and tested genuine workers, out of workers to possibly use in our future breeding. Why should we let it be spoilt by the window lickers /peddlars who frequent this site??, Time we all pulled on the same end of the rope and kept the mods informed about suspicious / regulars. We can call them all the names we want, dig all the dirt ( f**k the ban / Sherlock / CSI Miami) but only a mod can f**k them off proper. So lets meet them half way and let them know about these tossers, for the sake of our working dogs now, and the working dogs of the future. Out of breath now so i'll f**k off for a while. chris k 205 Posted August 27, 2011 Report Share Posted August 27, 2011 Just out of intrest has anyone ever thought of an alternative? what im suggesting is that theres quite a few rescue centres for working dogs and pups. coudnt we stickie some of these to the top of the dog for sale section. this could dissuade ppl from the peddlers as well as helping a good cuase. check out ( lurcherlink.com ) to see what i meen. the lads and lasses ruscue these dogs off there own backs for no profit or cred.
