Bootsha 1,306
Worm them as has been said first at two weeks, then every 2 weeks until the are 12 weeks old. Then every 3 months thereafter. When worming pups, you should worm the dam at the same time. All pups have roundworms, they get it through the mothers milk from birth ( the eggs that is not the worms). Whelping bitches should also be wormed in advance of whelping to reduce / remove or at least lessen the threat posed by roundworms. Trust me friend, ALL pups have got roundworms to a degree, worm them with a good quality wormer at the intervals suggested and you'll remove the parasites and your pups will use all the goodness you give them through their food to lay down foundations for good bones, teeth, coat physical and mental well being. Enjoy your pups. Regards B

sallie 67
Just a note to all, I was advised by my vet that dogs are becoming immune to advocate and to use stronghold one month and advocate the next.
mudd dog 128
Drontal puppy syrup did the job for me. Most of them other puppy syrups that u can buy in any pet store ain't worth a bat. It takes you to go to the vet and buy the proper gear. Then when the dogs are older and wormed in around every 3 months or so depending on their diet I would try and change the wormer I use on them ex. Using drontal plus one time then milbemax the next and then troscan and so on. I find that stops the dogs getting immune to one type of wormer. Just my opinion but it Works for me!! Guest dee mac
same as that mudd dog drontal every 2 weeks till there 12 weeks then we usually give them half truscan next time then they get a full tablet when there heavy enough for the full tablet we ve started too use cooper spot on for lambs sheep and cattle use it like dog spot on between the shoulder blades it gives you the dosage per kilo we only use it on the adult dogs tho. you get 250ml for 37 quid a adult terrier get roughly 2.5 ml so its enough for a 100 dogs has kept the flea s and ticks at bay this summer so far .

Drontal plus are good jimmy but there a rip of price.I go to a vetinary outlet and the chap behind the counter give me zantal plus instead at half the price and showed me the ingredients of both and there the same.I also used colovat as a booster when i had the ghounds and the same chap gave me a gallon of the exact same thing only different name for the same price as a 500ml bottle of colovat. The vets are a rip off.
