Countryman Fairs 0
Mitsubishi Motors World Series Gundog Championships at the Lowther Country Fair One of the most popular gundog championships in the UK, the Mitsubishi Motors World Series Gundog Championships came to the Lowther Country Fair last weekend, bringing with it a new format, some fantastic championship displays and another set of qualifiers who will compete at the prestigious Grand Final at the Midland Game Fair this September. Led by Gundog Organiser, Laura Bacon, and sponsored by Mitsubishi Motors, the gundog events at Lowther have certainly not disappointed, welcoming hundreds of entrants across the weekend ready to compete. Expressing her joy at the weekend’s successes, Laura says: “Last weekend at Lowther has once again proved a great success with impressive performances from all those who took part. Interest in all of the gundog events remained high across the two days, with a new batch of qualifiers earning their place at the Grand Final in September. With so many talented dogs and handlers taking part in September, we can’t wait to see what happens next, and more importantly, who will take the 2011 title!” The last chance to qualify for this year’s gundog championships will be on Saturday 17th at the Midland Game Fair. Qualifiers from all rounds will then go head-to-head on the Sunday to see who can take the 2011 crown, and better still, who can walk away with a brand new Mitsubishi ASX3 worth over £20,000!
