dytkos 17,784
Started my pup at 6 and 1/2 months. Nice handy rabs. Been out about 20 times, just for an hour or so since then. She's 12 months in just over a week and has now had 51. Out tonight hopefully for a few more. Well done mate, always keep plenty in the tank at that age though Cheers, D. Quote Link to post

fat man 4,741
He will be hobbing about with swollen knuckles and knee joints at about 18 months! 6 months old is about 6 months to early, soft bones still growing! I would be more worried about the hardness of the ground this time of year than the age of the pup.A pup will run and chase anything whether it is out on the lamp or just out for a mooch. If he keeps it to good soft ground it should be ok,but twisting and turning on hard surface will damage the pups toes, joints, and so on,anyway his choice but well done pup. Guest joball
Nothing special tbh trig most lurchers pups are capable of catching rabbits, its just the owners choose not to, i'm a big believer in letting pups be just that PUPS. Nothing big and clever running puppys on the lamp. defantly nothing to brag about. suppose he's.a super pup as he's a mal x but infact he has just as much alsation in him and even more greyhound, but i suppose all the credit will go to the mal nothing to do with the other breeds in it ! I can see clearly what your doing with these threads and so do you. I didnt want an arguement with you tbh but you feel like you have to prove this malumute blood makes super dogs when infact they have been challenged on here on a breed slagged of buy the creaters and they never took the challenge, anyway we all know that. Enjoy your pup trigger you have nothing to prove to urs i genuinly hope he turns out a good dog for you. alb al Quote Link to post
