Capreolus 0
Hi Remmy Thought it might be useful to post a pic of the dog so everyone can see both sides of the family. The dog is four years old and comes from mainly German stock, full details are available from Brenda at the Teckel Society. He is really good on deer and works well with both air and ground scent. I normally work him on a long line or attach a falconry bell to his collar. Once he gets on a scent he becomes almost completely deaf! I think for this breed the scent of game is the canine equivalent of crack cocaine!! Ruger8 and Compo had pups (any chance of an update or some pics) Looking forward to seeing you at the end of the month Quote Link to post
kiwi 4
is the teckel society the crowd that allows cross breeding ? Quote Link to post

wboulter 3
hello bry wondering if you know how ican get hold of nick valentines number reading countrymans last week article on his basset griffon vendeen with an out cross of beagle would like to know if he has any breding planed for this summer serious about geting two for cover work thanks fran hi i bought a teckel off nick valentine last year he`s a bit pricey but i had been looking for one for a while but never seen them for sale but its sods law as soon as i parted with the cash they seemed to be everywhere at half the price never mind would`nt change her for the world now as for working only took her once, prior to this she always listened well or so i thought, the first field there was sheep she took off like a bullet her little legs they ran faster than mine i was screaming at her to stop but she would`nt have none of it, picture this 42 year old fat bloke running down the field with gun in hand screaming at this little dog lucky my son was with me he was knackered when he caught up with her gave her a right telling off. then came the shooting lesson walking along nice cock pheasant got up bang down comes the bird little dog no where to be seen found her under a bush she did`nt like the gun much but i hav`nt tried her since. although i have taken her stalking with me and kept her on a long leash and she was very keen looking for scent and well behaved she sat under my high seat all the time considering she had never been out before she behaved like a pro but i dont mind if she doesnt make the grade as she is a fantastic bitch Quote Link to post
Guest Leveller
I've got Nick's number but he doesn't sell any of the PBGV's so you'd be wasting your time Quote Link to post
