yep, the one on the left is slightly smaller then the other one so i´m guessing its a cub.

we took three in one dig at the same spot last year.

Do you find the russells to be more level headed for digging them.Do you ever use any other type dogs Mart?i.e:- patt's,lakey's etc?

we only have russells at the moment.

there are a few jagds around, but they are too hard and too big in my opinion, they are mostly a roedeer and trialsdog up here.

the russells dont get hurt that much, and i´ve dug to the dog in the pic three days in a row.

i´d like to have a border one day, there are supposed to be some good ones around in scandi.

if you saw one of the "lakelands" they have up here, you wouldnt recognise it as one, dont think a single one of them is used in any sort of hunting.

we have dug on the same badger twice once, this one broke out when we lifted the dog, he ran about 50 yards before he went to ground again.

i did´nt really see any differences, but then again this one might have been a bit exhausted though.

there are a few others around that has fooled us, but i would´nt recognize them if i should meet them again
