Is it possible to go ferreting this time of year

I've got to many rabbits running aroud at home and i was wndering if it was possible to ge ferreting this time of year without having your ferret(s) stay down the hole.

They will nearly always come out eventually. But you are better with a collar on them (mrk3), then you can dig if needs be. To be honest the cover is the greater enemy now. Crack on, have some sport, sort out your problem. Or use your air rifle.

Yes it is,, just be prepared for a few nettle stings and get in about it.

Every day can be ferreting day, but carry a supply of anti histamines and alo-vera for stings and nettle rash haha. I started afew weeks ago my legs were like a map of the m6 and all its a roads. Learnt my lesson

i always start the 3rd sunday in sept but i take the kid out for a few times in the 6 wks holls cause the drive the miss mad by saying "mum im bord !" lol so i have to go just to shut them up by walking ther legs off lol they take ther ferrets and a few nets and they think its bang on

WE WERE OUT ON SUNDAY AND GOT 28 no nettle stings, all clear sets.
