MR TEA POT 1,287 Posted March 11, 2007 Report Share Posted March 11, 2007 I caught a couple in some fenn traps this morning and one of them was as tough as old boots,but with a bit of pulling,tugging and swearing i finaly got its skin off Well done on the trapping and snaring mate,what traps were you using?. Are they LEGAL in the UK mate ? Only the BMI and Victor Conybear are passed by the Ministry... Its kinda important if ya get a pull.... Don't you have to pay any 'import duty' on them , or Carriage,.etc...? I think they are only about £6.00 in this country Best to stay within the law,...for the sake of trapping.... Cheers bob Sounds like a nasty old thing BlackBob...(possibly a 220) and most definitely ILLIGAL in the UK.. The BMI Bodygrippers 116,110 and 55 are legal ...As are the Victor ConyBears.. If you get a chance,..take a quick glance at the Spring Traps Approval Order post at the top of this Snaring and Trapping page...Bodygrippers are lethal,..they MUST be used with extreme caution,..or we will end up losing them in the UK...All the best,..CHALKWARREN....
