jclay91 12
it all depends on how much you want to spend and where you will be going! i have an old tan brown coloured wax jacket (£45 from a local country clothing shop 4 years ago) i use that when i am out on the mud on estuarys if in the green reeds/marshes or hides i wear a rivers west eider jacket (£180 last year).... both are great coats, keep me dry and hidden, if it gets really cold i put on an extra base layer or 2! i have always gone for cheap waders..5mm neoprene ones... chest waders i have were £40 last season off ebay and have some thigh ones i got 2 year ago for £35 off ebay. if you are willing to spend abit of hard earned then have a look on john forseys website, he sells the eider jacket and also a parker jacket (which i have heard many good reports on) also check out his waders, they are all in camo and are supposed to be very good! Sidelock 10
I use the German Flecktarn stuff in gortex, cheap hard wearing and it works, the trousers are cut big with good lenth zips so you can put them on OVER boots or wellies built in bracers, as for the cold i use a motorcyclist thermal under suit. Boots Jack Pike 9 hole in green,, had them 3 years,, no issuses,, cheap light warm and waterproof
Sidelock 10
ps, My mate uses a surfers wet suit under his camo ,,, it does work well but you need to change before you get in the car
SEAN3513 7
Neoprene chestys and a "quality" jacket is the best combination imo
Reabrook 6
ps, My mate uses a surfers wet suit under his camo ,,, it does work well but you need to change before you get in the car Wouldn't want to get caught short in that outfit? Bad enough trying to get the chesties unbuckled for a pee without the wetsuit as an undergarment.

harrycatcat 31
Would this do you? £27 at tesco but I think you would need a coat over them if you went on the marsh with it on or you might get some strange looks.

harrycatcat 31
no wouldnt want one the same as yours pal Why whats wrong with it?
jclay91 12
for walkign aorund beating/rough shooting etc through long grass and cover crops you wouldnt want to be wearing any full suits or neoprene waders, you would not be comfy and would over heat .. a pair of decent high boots some cheap gaiters over them a pair of wax chaps or leggings over them and a decent goretex jacket (or wax) plenty of decent waterproof jackets out there (i can recommend the 'gadwall')
