CI HIR 13
You need some sighthound in the mix eg whippet, greyhound etc or it`ll be too slow.A bedlington greyhound x collie greyhound could be a good lamping dog. Quote Link to post

shepp 2,285
Too many pups around, I would make sure you had homes for 3/4 of them first. Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
That has got to be one of the best quotes i've seen . . . . . You may well prove them all wrong mate, you may not, i'm leaning to the latter. Where have you seen this litter of collie x beddys??? Sounds like an accidental mating to be honest. Are the sire / dam, working dogs? If so, then the odd one out of the litter may well turn out a half decent ferreting dog, but probably not in comparison to line bred ferreting dogs. You know how much variety that litter may have? Your pup could end up as anything. Also breeding it with your collie/grey, the pups are going to have very little sight hound in them, and i think shifting them will be very hard, even if you sell them cheap. . . . . It would be a pretty niche x. But if it does all work out, and you are talking years, and you end up with ferreting demons, then send a pup down this way. Quote Link to post
