Running a bitch in heat

Recommended Posts

a mate told me not to run my bitch for 12 weeks once she has come in season, because their body changes to get ready for pups, also 12 weeks will give the milk time to go, if it hasnt gone in 12 weeks give them a spoonfull of epson salts every other day for a week and that will help.

He's either having you on or got confusd and meant give them 12 weeks after having pups.

Not had a running dog to try working yet so will bow to the advice of others but i do know you wouldn't need to wait 12 weeks mate, also if they aint had a lining or litter they don't get milk after a season unless they get a phantom pregnancy ;)
