secretagentmole 1,701
I think all new cars should have a Tracker fitted, they do not like it when the police can zero in on the car...
rob190364 2,594
cars insured,so dry your eyes What a pathetic statement mate, suppose you loved the riots aswell. Obviously your still a kid and don't have to pay insurance yet,ask your mum or dad about it.Maybe you'll learn a thing or two... he has got a point though mate, even if you're insured you end up paying a fair bit extra over the years due to increased premiums/loss of no claims etc. I had a radio nicked out of a focus a few years back, had 8 years no claims and stupidly made a claim for it. The radio was only worth £400 but they slashed 5 years off my no claims and my premium the following year was over £400 more than it had been the year before....plus I had two cars at the time and they wouldn't let me put them both on one policy which they had done the year before............all for something that wasn't my fault (that was the AA by the way but they're all the same). When it comes to insurance companies you always lose out!

rob190364 2,594
Update.....my sisters car has been found on a housing estate in Southport....number plates had been changed but the cops noticed the reg no. on the tax disc what my sister reg. Looks like the scum left it parked up for a couple of weeks to check it didn't have a tracker on it. Police also caught some known car theives and one of the keys they had on them at the time was a Seat key which just so happens to be the key to my sisters car! The police have said the only way they are going to be able to charge them with the theft is if they can find DNA evidence on the car or if the mobiles of these scumbags were on my sisters road at the time of the theft. So the key was stolen, car taken....they have caught the person red handed with the key and still it's not enough for a conviction, bizarre! Happily though the car is undamaged and she has it back, it's going to cost them a few hundred to get the locks/ingnition etc. changed but at least they have their car back! NEWKID 27,520
Kind of a decent end then mate, you would still be pissed off that it would cost you anything ( couple hundred fo changing locks), and the scummers should be bang to rights considering they had the fu*king car. Was burgled twice when I lived home with the folks both times the burgalars come off a lot worse, my old man was'nt a good sleeper and was always pretty angry ,one time they were robbing the chest freezer in our half finished extension I've still got a massive rucksack which one of the theives kindly gave him , the other time i was arund 17 when me old man was shouting at me to get up the sheds being robbed, caught up with them at a block of garages as they pulled out, after dragging one lad through his smashed car window we frog marched em back to our house past half my fishing gear which they had dropped whilst running. I f*cking knew the lads too one was supposed to be a mate, stood in our kitchen they were near on crying the old man says " right lads do you wanna come in the garden with me and kev and take your chances or do you want me to ring the old bill" they chose the old bill.
