Vets in Midlands

Anyone know of any vets who know about ferrets in the Midlands, preferably around Sutton Coldfield/Birmingham area. The local ones I have phoned are not great. Particularly any who do a jill jab for less that about 60 quid. Thanks

I have for many years struggled to find a suitable vet as far as ferrets are concerned...,most are only accustom to "pets" and haven't a clue when it comes to such "exotics" as ferrets....I live in a similar area to you and so recommend you go to vets for pets in redditch..,book an appointment with Richard Santz, he is superb when it comes to ferrets, he has a personal intrest in there health & welfare and works with local charities and organisations. Not only this but he is the most hospitable vet you ever likely to meet..I once took a dozen ferrets there with the consultation taking over an hour, all this was done with a no rush approach and the cost was minimal...not only is he a superb vet he's also friendly and helpfull..,go there..,you won't be disappointed.............atb

Jill Jab should cost about 8, to 15 quid mate,, typical vet rip off fuckers

jo parsons in coopers lane Evesham will do jill jabs for £8 also hunt supporter (make sure you see her though as she gets student vets to do jill jabs sometimes nearly got us all bitten last time )

Mate there is a vets at the Dunton Island (just off the roundabout near the boot fair) I can never remeber the bloody name of it. Ive had all my ferrets done with him. It looks like an old manor house and is a bit run down but have always had a brilliant service with all my animals. I will try and dig the number out for you if its any help?
