Greek Phil 5
Having just watch tonight's Field Sports Channel episode where Roy Lupton and his mate shoot 21 foxes in a 4.30hr session. I thought I'd ask the following question. What's your best nights score when lamping foxes ? My best score is 13. We ended up getting 20 in 3 trips over 2 weeks. Quote Link to post
martin 332
My best is 8 adult foxes in one field in a gale, all of the ewes were in the middle of the field while the lambs were under the hedges.....shooting fish in a barrel. Martin Quote Link to post
Alycidon 2
3 + a miss on the easiest one. Had several 3s but never a 4. Last four trips out have revealed two sets of eyes in total, one was his nibs, the other was to far to tell, we have a lot of hares about. My gut feeling is that is was a fox. So I dont have a lot on the ground. Mate of mine shot 11 the other night and saw 19 on an estate a few miles away. A 1 Quote Link to post

WonderWellies 1
First night lamping rabbits on a new estate in '87. I was lamping, 'keeper driving and underkeeper shooting. Don't think the underkeeper had ever been lamping foxes, so once we saw one and got it, we gave up on the rabbits and ended up with 7 foxes. Top night if only for the look on the underkeeper's face every time a fox came in to the squeaks Quote Link to post
