I got sucked into all this in 90,91,92 enjoyed it at the time but when i think back it was shite to be truthful.

Most of the music was terrible.

Got better when Jungle music took hold and the smaller more intense venues were best.

Blazers in Middlesbrough was a favourate.

Wouldnt thank you for it nowdays if you like music get to the Festivals , much better id say.

 

Same here Max, most of the way through the 90's I was driving halfway across the country to get to some warehouse or forest. Nowadays im driving the same distance to get some hunting in.

my mates going 2 be mc at it ,turbo d and he reckons that it will not last long as the council trying 2 but a block on it now , 2 be honest i hope it does cloesed down 2 many youngens looseing their life 2 pills, i use 2 love going 2 raves when i was in my early teens and 2 daft stuff but when look back on it now the times were good but now i,m a father i would,nt like my kids going 2 raves .

Definatly just using the New Monkey name to pull in the punters and try to kick start the rave scene again, it's been going downhill since the monkey shut I reckon. Never went to the monkey but apparently it wasn't like others, always hearing stories off mates of people getting jumped and mugged and how the place is a shed.

i agree will never be like the old monkey ,i can remember boubon street before the monkey opened at was the place 2 be on the weekend hardly no fighting and defo not know mugging also done the afterdark and the venue and collusuim ,but i think they should but it all 2 bed now a move with times
