Raymond 618
Cheers everyone. is the purple tin the cut and heal? Do people use vitamin E aswell Do you ? Yes I find it is very good in the healing process. I use the warm salty water. If its a deep wound I use the barrel of a suringe.I put the warm salty water in the barrell and squirt it into the deep wound to flush it out. I do this 3 times a day for 3 days. The next 3 days after I flush the wound,I put good old sudocreme on the wound for a couple of day. The wound will tell me what to do after the first few days. After 5 to 6 days of the above I let the wound dry up. I give vitamin E200 twice a day depending on size and weight of dog. I give the E200 for 7 to 8 days. Weather it was the dog healing abilities or all of the above combined.I find the dog heal faster. I try not use antibiotics if I can. The wound will tell me what to do in that case. Ive experienced some serious enough injuries heal up quickly doing the above without antibiotics. In some cases you will need the help of antibiotics.
slay3r 1
The spray your on about will more than likely be THE purple spray every dog man should have a tin lol you can get it from any farmers supplies usally about £4 a tin mate is is good for cleaning wounds and helps healing. Its called Gentian Violet, get it on ebay pretty cheap from usa add some water to it. Normal purple spray is 1% you will get enough to make a bath full for about 6 quid.. We use it neat an its shit hot gear If it helps.................. Edited August 18, 2011 by slay3r

craigyboy 1,274
the best you can get imo is the wound spray they sell for horses,my bullx ripped her back leg open a few mth back on barbed wire, the tear was pretty bad,but after i cleaned it i spray the wound twice a day and as the days go by you can actually see the wound closing and it rarely leaves a scar its fecking magic stuff,im never without a tin,its saved me thousands over the years
