Guest busterdog
Wash the wound with hibiscrub or dettol in warm water, the best cream for wounds is dry cow, ask a local dairy farmer for a tube.

wilko tango 50
Wash the wound with hibiscrub or dettol in warm water, the best cream for wounds is dry cow, ask a local dairy farmer for a tube. well said buster thats exactly what i use. i always have a spray bottle in my box as part of my kit with water and dettol solution mixed. when dogs out from dig he gets a good powerful spray of the solutoin disinfecting and cleaning the dirt out of the cut at the same time its a great job. and i use antibiotic cream i get from a farmer i have pemision off its for mastitis. i apply this cream to the dogs that evening when i get home i find its better to only use it for 2 or 3 days so then you can let the wounds dry out i find they heal better this way.
