simonrocco 175 Posted August 17, 2011 Report Share Posted August 17, 2011 hello pal all you need is the net material eg hemp, nylon, spun poly a mesh board and i use an 8 inch needle. you can buy net making kits to start with from birdport nets or aurthor carter or ebay they come with everything you'll need to make nets with think they cost around £25. tegater 789 Posted August 17, 2011 Report Share Posted August 17, 2011 As Simonrocco says, but I would definatley go with spun poly,handles a little similar to hemp, but with none of the hassle, maintanance wise. Go for either of the Loomis needles that Agouti sells, they are far better than conventional ones, and you can do a whole three and half footer on one load, so their is no joining twine half way through. http://www.agouti-nets.co.uk/shop.htm Quote Link to post
