Is it still legal to net hares with a longnet?? and is it legal to use a dog to flush hares into the net?

not illegal to use a long net for hares,not sure about using dogs to flush them.can use to dogs to flush hares to guns.ill take a guess and say and its illegal to use dogs to flush into a long net.

It is lawful to use a dog or dogs (a maximum of two in England and Wales) to flush a hare in order to obtain meat for human consumption

Buy why on earth do you other guys think it's a sin to net hares? And why is shooting more acceptable? ...because it is easier perhaps?

i think its ok to net hare if you got a use for them, i would shoot them if i had a use for them but the dog men like them to be left so they can test there dogs.

Yes Smithie, but sadly using dogs to hunt hares is now illegal.

excellent loop hole. and use a net with about 8inch mesh
