This comes with brand new 12ah batteries, charger and a blue filter with matching filter adapter. this has the advantage of being able to be pivoted out of the way when not needed, also the handle is able to screw off the lamp to be used with a gun adaptor. The carry case is the tough metal case which has a strap or carry handle. the only thing that doesn't work is the charging led indicator, this is not essential as when the battery is fully charged the charger continues to trickle charge so the lamp can stay plugged in all the time ready for those impromptu lamping trips.
