How much?

How much should I be looking at for a .410 hush power? Second hand? I really want 1 for when the weather turns and the rats start to move to the farm buildings from the river ;-) as it's a very small hamlet and best at night the 12 isn't really an option, I have pcp air aswell but just really fancy a .410? Also for lamping on the quad.

Looking on some of the for sale ads, .410 hushpowers nearly always are up for 200->250quid. Thats for the single barrel one, like the baikel for example.

 

If you are talking about the pump action mossberg version like I have, then these seem to be a lot rarer - people never tend to sell them once they have one! They tend to be advertised for anywhere from 400->480quid if you can find one. New I think they are £525 last time I checked, so they hold their value well.

 

Have you tried one out? I think you`ll actually be a bit disapointed with one compared to your PCP. I have both the .410 hushpower and a pcp and I find I use the pcp more!
