Anybody ratting?

Hi lads and lasses, just wondering if anybody in north lancs south Cumbria will be doing any ratting soon/this season? I have a jack x staff comes ferreting with me but anything she gets is ferret food if you know what I mean, fur everywhere! Got a chainsaw smoker but not been able to bolt any rats to her yet, although she is really keen!!! Think I'm prob doing something wrong, so if anybody wants an extra man and dog when they next go please give me a thought. Quite a leggy bitch so don't think she up to ground work but I know WE would both enjoy a days ratting ;-)

hi u could be puting to much oil in the mix i have done this my self to much smoke and them dirty things will not bolt

i thourt more oil the better .but i have known them not to bolt and dogs have dug them out half ded so you might be right ill try that one .
