Help needed with Terriers

HI all, new to this and have 2 Patterdales

1@12 months

1@ 6 months

Would like some advice on how to get

started.Bought a 'Rattrap' but would'nt

know how to catch one, the reason for

having the 2 dogs was company for one

another but feel they would be happier

working, any constructive feedback

welcome.

You need to find someone local to show you the ropes

just get out with them, encourage them too mooch, take them to quiet places, disused industrial estates, rabbits thrive there, show the dogs game and they should switch on, encourage them to bush, take them down canals, river banks look for signs of rat and hopefully you will bump into stuff,

 

both young enough, my advice is just get out amongst it, you will have fun no matter what and dogs will enjoy it.
