I like the sound of this cross and wouldn't mind seeing some half cross and 1/4 cross.

I've heard they are exceptionally quick off the mark and hard as nails.

Should make decent lamp dogs and also tackle bigger stuff I expect.

What sort of height do they throw?

Heard good things about Jason Powells pocket rocket whippet bulls. Personally i dont see any benefit when you can have a bull greyhound

smaller fields, extra gear of the mark? and your mum wanted a smaller dog (whippet height) in the house :icon_redface:

Cant say as i havent seen one, BUT would they be quicker, would the frame of the whippet make for a heavier/slower dog rather than using the size of the greyhound? Just a thought......

depends how it throws, mines whippety with a proportioned head for a pup obviously, but got abit of strength behind her already!! but i can see where your coming from!

Handy little x i,d have thought...but will struggle with bigger quarry ...not sayin they wont do bigger stuff...but its goin to be a long drawn out affair..unfair on the dog and unfair on the quarry...personally i,d go for a bull/grey half x bitch..a little larger than the whippet x but alot more killing power ..atb stabba
