just bought a slip lead which is already sliping off the dog without me pressing the release button is their any way in fixing this problem?

Two simple fixes

 

1, take it back and get your brass back

 

2. throw it in the bin.

 

Unless its one thats been custom made they are shite. It will keep doing it and at the most inconvenient times.

there not worth a shite mate ..they can catch against yer leg and come undone they wethe catch also wears quickly ..got some real beauties what i got from the waterloo cup brass fittings the works ..but i will never use them...cant beat a bit of cord through the collar or some slips of the big gay man strongstuff...

dont use them now but when i did, i welded an extension onto the the swivel bar so that it needed to pressed fully to release, as said before bit rope through the lead, cant beat it.

cant beat a pice of rope, lose it and easy replaced chip as chips..
