Simoman 110
Simon have ever thought about putting dusty with that dalmation if you do book me a pup mate lol Unfortunately stripe the dalmation was stolen last winter by an old woman wearing a fur dress, apparently a lot of good dalmations went the same week, no idea what plans she has for them................. Dusty has just sired a litter so perhaps a pure cocker pup may be of interest, the winning on Dusty have paid for my mental health counselling Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,832
And born hunter, please don't listen to these so called experts on here, this is my bitch stripe with a coyote taken single handed on Holiday at Butlins Skegness last season Thats impressive! Im hoping to cross my coyote bolting dalmation strain into my wolf killing lurcher strain. Seen here in action on a call out for a local farmer in the wilds of lincolnshire; Sorry, no photos of the dead beast, things got a bit scary and I ran off.... Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
Top draw stuff matey, those Wolds wolves can grow in excess of 8,000lb's, i slipped all 101 of my dalmations on one near Louth in 2003 only to see them destroyed, the only survivor was poor stripe, after that i stuck to coyotes feeding on the dumps on the outskirts of Scunthorpe.......... amentalcat 3
To answer the original question, unless the cocker was a Very hard hunter, i doubt one would choose to take charley on. If a spaniel got cornered, then i s'pose it would have a go, but i think it would ruin a good dog. I like those killer Damnations though Ali Quote Link to post
scent 509
would working cocker (pure) get stuck into a charley ? if lurcher needed assistance , may sound like a stupid question just curios 2 lad iv hunted rabbits with have 2 cockers that will go to ground .Iv seen it myself with own 2 eyes and they dug the foxes with nothin more then a small ferreting bar Edited August 14, 2011 by scent Quote Link to post

Casso 1,261
would working cocker (pure) get stuck into a charley ? if lurcher needed assistance , may sound like a stupid question just curios theres no reason any mutt with drive and an active temperament would not give it a go, my only reservation on it would be at what point would its drive cut out, like the trip switch on the electricity in your home, when its overloaded,,how hgh does the pain threshold in a cocker go,,once the threshold of pain reaches the level of drive and goes past, thats him out of there, the switch has been tripped,, then again he might not take any punishment, and go on to become the ultimate fox slayer,,until hes found out ,, Quote Link to post
