Barrie 1,325
It spoke volumes, not just about Alwyn but also of his family and their life together, when during his Eulogy his son Gary said... "You may think it strange of us to have a Sunday funeral. But Saturday is a hunting day and my father always believed that hunting days were too valuable to be wasted." The world is undoubtably a much poorer place for the loss of Alwyn, he was a true gentleman and a sportsman in every way. Sadly the modern day world no longer produces men of his calibre and he will be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known him great fondness and the utmost of respect. R.I.P. Alwyn. 1 Quote Link to post
