Running dogs at the moment

Recommended Posts

I've noticed there's quite a lot of people saying they're now lamping, both in threads and on their status etc. Where I am 10 minutes after it's been raining the ground is bone dry again, the ground seems way too hard to be running dogs on yet? and isn't it a bit warm aswell?

I have been sitting here perusing some of these posts and i cant understand why some people are running their dogs in high summer, for one most of the ground is too hard and you risk injury to your dog and two, rabbits and hares will be full of milk. (female ones that is) I can understand if the farmer asks you to thin them out abit i mean if you dont someone else will right, or to bring a young dog on so to gain experiance but running out of season never has been or never will be for me.

last year i dug cubs in janurary and that stoped me digging for the rest of the season so starting 2 weeks early just getting the dogs tuned in for the coming months.. with the bad weather there giving for this winter i dont think lads are going to get half the amount of work for there dogs as they would like to

would of thought you would of known that the ground would be hard before even leaving lol my concerns for the winter is there getting colder as years go by making the ground solid so reduces the amount of time in season we get to run dogs like post above highlighted which Is a huge factor last few years. plus with them breeding early in places can't win

f**k me, sound like a bunch of faggots grounds to hard for dogs to risky for them, might get injured. every time you take the dogs out you will always have a risk of them getting injured.

yeah mate, your a faggot if you care about your dogs. if you want them to have a good season and not be laid up with injury all the time, definately a faggot. ..................TIT!
