Alex Arrigone 24
hey. i own an Air Arms S410. recently ive been out a lot in the rain with it. i have been oiling and cleaning everytime after use in rain and wet conditions however rust has appeared its little dots of rust rather than fully rusted. i have used tin foil to get rid of it. it seemed to work (got rid of the rust colour and it was left with a white stain where the rust spot was). a week later and more rust. no matter what i do it comes back, even when i havent used it im worried my rifle is getting eaten away. how can i get rid of the rust for good? any good tips? the rust is becoming a problem and its spreading help please atb alex Quote Link to post

chris k 205
right DONT hold me to my word on this but take a soft cleaning cloth after getting rid of the rust and try some wd40 on it. check up on this before doing it as i do this with motercycle parts and it does prevent and cure it but im not sure about rifle parts? hope it helps Quote Link to post
