Buying a terrier

Recommended Posts

hi,

just wondering if anyone knew how much around the terriers you see at game fairs in the car parks are and if that would be a good place to get a good working one for foxes etc.

oh ya out of curiosity which breed suits best for that kind of work. i like the patterdale myself but if anyone knows of any others that basically go into and hunt cover well, let me know.

thanks

Stay clear mate i have done it myself bought so called working terriers and learned the hard way not a shite,no bodie will sell a good working ground dog unless you a very very lucky just my thoughts.

Done Deal,Local Trader, stay clear of them all because very, very few sell a good dog ,and certainly not at the start of the diging season. If you know someone that does a bit of diging and they have good diging dogs, you would be better trying for a pup of them and run it on yourself.
