borris 12
I got a 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington she's just turned 5 months old and is 16 and a 1/2 tts just wondering if she'd be any good on the lamp or a tad too small and how big she is likely to grow? Quote Link to post
Shazza 52
At 5 months she's still got some growing to do, don't worry about it mate a lot of good rabbit dogs are only around the 18" mark 1 Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
The only way to find out matey is too wait until shes a little older and have a go, that breeding should be pretty quick over short distances and ideal for snaffling up a few conies......... Quote Link to post
Guest born to run1083
the cross above have been used as lamping dogs for years to high success, I wouldn't worry just yet lol as some said when the times right enter him properly and then you can asses his strengths and weakness and work him to his advantages 1 Quote Link to post
rolysmate 49
Shouldn"t be a problem Quote Link to post

martync1967 64
i own one with the same breeding and they dont call them pocket rockets for nothing, rabbits dont stand a chance ours is like a patriot missile once slipped the acceleration is outstanding, there is no reason why your dog shouldnt be any good on the lamp Quote Link to post
NEWKID 27,153
Same as mine mate, is coming on nicely on the lamp as said quick as f*ck over short distance for the small to medium sized fields i work she's fine. Good allround rabbit dog ferrets, bushing, lamping. Mines around 19-20", your's should work out just right for rabbits mate. All the best in the future. Quote Link to post
