i dont think how ye use your dog to catch whatever quarry it may be, is the way to judge a dogman

same as the quarry he hunts, should never be held against a man when judging him on his skills as a dogman....

 

 

a dogman should be judged on how he gets the best from his dogs an land an quarry.... an the way he carries himself throo the dog game, just my 2 penneth worth haha

you see simo,,, i see it the other way round,,,, i look down on big game hunters,,,cos i know there dogs are infirior to a good rabbit dog,, pulling 5 deer over in a night, is childs play in the right place, but getting above 40 bunnys takes far more work

 

 

why would you look down on some one that dont run rabbits ? silly talk comes to mind tomo.i would sooner self harm then go rabbiting.

there are many factors as to what may make one man a better dog man than another but i dont think the type of quarry he runs is one of them

Think you answered your own question Si dont matter as long as the dogs are out doing some form of work cant really comment on others views as i dont mix much only dog lads i dont rate thats them that nick others stock and them that buy grown dogs in and sell at the first fault .
