max abell 196 Posted August 10, 2011 Report Share Posted August 10, 2011 Made a start today on some new ground the landowner has been bending our ear we dont normaly start till end of august done a few smallish burys ended the day with 14 the weather was nice but not boiling hot and best of all NO hang ups or babies pic of my neice who is 7 months pregnant but still wanted to come she likes to work her ferrets Quote Link to post

max abell 196 Posted August 10, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 10, 2011 no bad if you can use the land rover,must be big burrows if your using 6.my dam albino kills underground on the smallish burrows if using 2-3 ferrets,like the jack russel to we did about 5 smallish burys so each fert gets a bit of a run the jack russell (ted) is coming on great he is nearly 2 and started to mark the holes iv got high hopes for him and the good thing is when he gets to a rabbit in the net he just puts his foot on it and is more intrested in sniffing it's ar*e then biting it not like my old jack who is dead now he was a nightmare if he got to it before you you were lucky if you got the skin out the net let alone the rabbit but i do miss the little sod REST IN PEACE GEORGE 1 Quote Link to post
