i keep parrots including two greys. There are various theories to sexing birds,size, attraction to opposite sex owners,head shape etc but a dna test is the only sure way and the feathers have to be live ie.plucked from the bird ,not picked from the cage.

I could'nt see a grey forgetting or forgiving whoever plucked them and they do hold a grudge.

Why do you want to know the sex of the bird? It really does'nt matter except for breeding and tame pet birds rarely make good breeders.

ive got one mate,,as im typing this its shouting cuckoo cuckoo..its totalley fecked up in the head,,lol,,its 4 year old now,,the breeder i bought it of reackons that you can tell by the size of them the sex but i dont no if thats true,,hes realy big so he reakons its a male,,but i avent got a clue,,like racing pigeons i sapose but then again ive had some massive hens (females)..atb..mark..

my mate has one, the pretty clever like everytime the dogs in it goes "here tessa" dog goes up to cage and gets bit on the nose, dosey c**t falls for it everytime, some people would think its a grafter coz its nose is all scarred up,

mine is 10 year old has a massive vocabury including every swear word thats out there and then some he farts burps and coughs does the sound of someone pissing and sings oops upside your head while dancing and rocking his head up and down also screams go on bitch every time we put a coursing dvd on .also shouts oi show us your tits and laughs straight after . the above is a small section of what he does and says. i say him because we call him henry but really dont have a clue what sex it is .he is great fun but can be embarresing depending who is visiting my sons mother in law was vidsiting and he hadnt said anything all night as she got up to leave he shouted oi show us your tits my wife died a death while i was rolled up in the chair pissing myself .
