buster 8789 64
Get in touch with your local tax office and apply for a c.i.s card they will explain what you have to do from there.
Simoman 110
Mate has his own agricultural fencing company, he has lots of specialist equipment including tractors, will be costly at first as you will need to compete with the big boys but everybody starts somewhere so best of luck matey........ the_stig 6,614
i think you`ll need some good work experiance ..i was 6 year in my trade before i took the plunge .. and i took a bit of work off the last company i worked for my first job was a 22k new housing development ... and never tell your rivals your prices Edited August 9, 2011 by the_stig
Waz 4,252
Best education you could get is working for someone already established. Learn the job and learn how to price right. Could take a couple of years but it wont be wasted time.
andyfr1968 772
As has been said above, it's vital to be able to price up a job correctly if you're going it alone, so get as much hands on experience as you can first. Good luck.

OldNog 432
When i did countryside management and sparsholt the final BIG assisngment at the end of the second year was a mock up of a business plan as if we were creating our own business. It taught you how to go about setting up your own business, all of the ins and outs ect. Pretty useful if its what you fancy doing
