Terra Firma 136
it's just as easy to buy a shite pup that you'll spend 12 mnth bringing on only to have to PTS, this site shows a small fraction of the dogging world and there's bitches being bred out of every season, How can you breed another litter of pups when the first ones are not even running yet? Because you're a poncing twat who puppy peddles shite to make a couple of quid from trusting dog men......scum. Best advise i'd give is do your research on the parents first and get some first hand info on them, or ideally find and dog that you've seen work and suits your requirements then wait for a breeding, it requires patience but if you wait you'll have a dog that'll do you proud for many seasons of hard graft. 1 Quote Link to post
mighty celt 996
dont think anyone in there right mind would sell a good dog unless they were really skint or something drastic came up and had to get rid asap well mate in this day an age theres alot of people goining abroad for work and other people r traveiling miles a day for work and just dont have the time for there dogs anymore.i lost my job a couple of months back and had 2 rehome 2 of me dogs as i couldnt afford 2 look after them all the lads i sold the dogs 2 r well pleased with them and keep in touch with me about them.so it worked out well for both of us.like said before suss the person out if he sounds a genuine bloke ask for a trial of the dog if the dog suites you it saves u all the time rearing and traing it Quote Link to post
scent 509
one mans dirt is another mans gold .Iv sold 2 lurchers and the owners were delighted wih them .One was an very good rabbbit dog and the other was a good fox dog.Another thing you have to remember is that peoples situations change and they may need the money badly or may have issues with the family so they have to have a clear out .The only thing that i always try to remember is that if a dog is made out to be a top class dog then surely his hunting mates would have him in their kennells 2 Quote Link to post
watchman 256
originaly got a month trial with my bitch i bought off a lad on here last year due to the bad weather (snow) could not get her out for a run the lad had no qualms extending the trial period till i could get her out,he was a man of his word she exactly as he said she was,yes people do sell good dogs but certainly few and far between and certainly shows lads in their true colours if you end up buying a bag of shite to line their pockets with a few quid on the flip side only got yourself to blame for not trialing it in the first place Quote Link to post
rocky1 942
very rare but 99% of their time their other people shite ,most dogs that are up forsale these days are dogs that haven,t made the grade or fcuked in the head and they,ll not do the right thing and pts and think more of money then kids or people . marty42 18
theres a lot a conmen out there, sell anything ta make a quick buck. ask em for a trial first and if they dont give you a trial for whatever reason then leave the dog there. Quote Link to post
