gnipper 6,411
It probably depends what type lab was used, a lot of people I know with working labs have tall and lean dogs who are still able to go out picking up at over 12 years of age which would be a better prospect than one of the dumpy little ones that can't walk by the age of 8. scott7877 0
Well I went to see the pups tonight, have chose a lovely brindle bitch, as for the patents, the mother ( lab ) has 6 ftch in her family, she used to work until she was shot accidentally in the leg and has a slight limp but can't run too good now, the dad is not a full grey, has bull and whippet in him but the breeder just put down greyhound. The one I chose seemed very interested in the pelt, even when I hid it away, so hopefully she may make a good marker dog for with the ferrets.
Lab 10,979
If that ad is genuine, then why not? I've seen two Grehound/Labrador crosses, one was owned by a mate who used to write in EDRD under the name Greylab. Now that dog could 'go', great on the lamp and hard as nails, used it a lot with terriers too, this dog had a big and just reputation. The other is owned now by Moggy2010 off here, and for a youngster (about 16mths) is showing some fantastic potential, working well both day and night. I think of a good lab the pups could be really biddable and usefull Copy and paste..........................
