I,v run and bred whippets for thirty years I own other x,s as well but I,ll always have a whippet in my team . I,v had good ones and not so good ones but never one that was good for nothing. The best

Bull x's are for people that have a small penis and are looking for a cock extension but have an amazing fox dog that takes anything single handed by accident

Why in the world would there ever be a whippet vs bull x argument. Totally different dogs, for different jobs (although the foxing folk do get a bit upset when they realize that the humble whippet is

dont mind bringing them ferreting at a young age but to get the best out of a whippet pup on the lamp id hold them till bout 12 months old they would catch rabbits alot younger then this on the lamp i just find they would be stronger mentaily at 12 months and wouldnt start 1 any younger.

got a 4 year old whippet and now have a 7 month old 3/8 5/8 bull cross. Couldn't care less about numbers as long as the dogs give it their all. And i think both Whippet and Bull X owners will agree that both breeds do that. Pup is learning alot off of the whippet at the min so will see how she comes on, and they both compliment the ground I run. But not sure what the combination of these two breeds say about my penice size.

Hi to all, so I've never owned a whippet before and have encountered an irritating habit that got worse in the last month of ferreting and was wondering if anyone out there has had success minimising noise during ferreting?
So he runs prey silently, almost never barks at home so I was very happy going into his first winter, but.... when the ferret slot machine is not paying out fast enough for his liking he yips at the holes he senses are near the underground action. On top of that, if he runs a bolted rabbit to ground again he persistently barks at the hole while constantly looking at me as if to say "get them ferrets over here mate, I've got one for you"
I've a very experienced collie lurcher who is a dream to ferret with but the whippet seems to make no reference to the good stuff he does. Any ideas on managing this?

My mate who i do a bit of ratting with is looking for a Whippet or Whippety Lurcher pup.
Idealy he's looking for a small, fast dog that is tough enough to rat alongside terriers, ferret and lamp with.
A full whippet would be great but one with plenty of poke and will get stuck in to the rough and tumble of ditch side ratting days on freezing open land.
There's no rush but if anyone can point him in the right direction that would be welcome.
      Thanks.

I’m looking for some advice as we recently rescued a whippet lurcher mix. She’s extremely friendly and sociable with dogs and people but is constantly biting and grabbing our older dogs legs, ears and neck. He’s s cavachon and doesn’t really care for playing or interacting with other dogs so he rarely snaps or growls at her when she starts. He’ll just stand there looking at us or try to run away. She’s never been aggressive towards him and regularly try’s to protect him if other dogs get rough with him. However she’s constantly biting at him when he starts barking or when’s she too excited. We separate her and tell her no but so far it’s not working and he’s doing little to tell her to stop. My worry is he’s much smaller then her and that she might accidentally hurt him if we weren’t there to stop it. Is this common Lurcher behaviour and any suggestions? Thanks
