venomviper 129 Posted August 7, 2011 Report Share Posted August 7, 2011 hi ya folks well after speaking to kev we arrange to take phil over for a shoot good to get him out for a few hours which is what it's all about well phil got dropped off at mine for around 19:00hrs then we took the drive to kev's house were we went to his workshop to zero the r10 he had brought off phil and well what can i say kev fitted the scope and zero wasnt that far off and smooth and spot on power all thanks to phil and his magic the r10 was ready to hunt phil had brought along his nice little 177 vk r10 and i had my trusty 177 ultra and away we went to a dairy farm of kev's which i must say is spot on for the rabbits well after getting there and sorted we went for a walk around first spotting our rabbits in the first field i took the shot and got it nice little rabbit to 1 to me but after going to get him mixi was all over him so he was left to the foxes then the second one was down to phil and well what a nice size rabbit it was nice shooting from phil then it was kev's turn to get a rabbit and he did he braking his new r10 22 in with a cracking shot so it was left to me to get one for the bag as my mixi 1 was left in the hedge and yes i got one to very happy with the shot to so off we went to skin the rabbit and this is were the fun begins lol everytime we skin the rabbit we have alot of eyes watching us and now you will see and phil being on guard as the cows just wanted to watch no harm lol well as you all know were there is cows they will be electric fences and yes you know it me and kev both knew and phil didnt lol until he lent back on a post and nearly touched the wire close call i must have to say here is a nice little picture of phil trying not to get a shock as he was going over the electric fence and what a picture this one is (PICTURE OF THE MONTH) and kev managed anothe rabbit with his new r10 22 and flipped the rabbit straight into the fence as well again a cracking shot from kev and phil's shot was cracking to as well as mine lol kev 2 phil 1 shay 1 but all in all we had a good laugh and walk around a big thank you to kev for inviting us over and having a good laugh ok we were low on rabbits but it's the company and taking part that makes a good night shooting you really cant ask for much more than that ooooop's forgot a picture of phil and his rabbit i hope you all enjoy if i have forgotten anything no doubt kev or phil will add to it lol all the best shay Quote Link to post
