hello im in need of a new lamp has anyone used the tracer sport light for lampin with dogs? are they just as good as striker? look prety much the same how reliable are they like wires and stuff ?

Looks like a complete copy of the Striker, a bit cheaper and it doesn't look like they have sorted the lenses out.

Same as the Striker, clip on.

I am looking at one of these myself now, a variable RRP £99.95

Got one here, wiring is much better. We shall see this season how it performs.

ive just got a tracer blitz one slightly bigger with the dimmer switch and a lithium tracer battery used it twice and broke it twice

i think the one u guys are looking at may be a little more compact, but the one i have is pretty clumsy, the first fault was the part which plugs into the lighter thing on a car, that cracked on the first outing, it fell out of the slot and cracked, then the wiring all fell out of the actual lamp, i bought it brand new, and im not too happy with it.

 

so im getting my old deben striker out

I think you maybe a little mixed up, Blitz and Striker are Lightforce . Tracer is Deben brand. By the looks of it you have a Striker with a sealed battery and a New Deben Sport light 210 with a Deben Lithium battery.
