Make these feckers realise that if they are going to do the crime they have to be prepared to do hard time and proper sentences none of this 12 months serve 6 months or serve 3 then get out on a tag crap.

 

Punishments don't reflect the crimes these days and if there is not deterrent/consequence no wonder these feckers are happy to go rioting and looting right in front of TV cameras!

People should be allowed to protest peacefully IMO. If you're going to Riot then you should expect a good hiding if the law gets a grip of you, but I don't see what's good about coppers being given free rein to go around smashing people up who are protesting peacefully?

As has been said already we have a fantastic police force when it comes to crowd/riot control etc.......how is it that over the last 30 years on numerous occasions the police have managed to rip into massive crowds of football hooligans fighting and causing carnage.....but they sat back the other night and watched a bunch of idiots/kids destroying homes and businesses..................we,ve all done our share of silly stuff and i clearly remember back years ago just how savage the ol bill could be with all the football carry on,only last year at the West Ham - Millwall game was there literally thousands of people rioting and causing mayhem,after a while plod steamed in with riot shields,dogs and batons swinging and it was over in a few hours.........................well why didnt they do that the other night instead of allowing it to carry on all night then saying " we,ll run that back on cctv and punishment will be dealt out ! "....i,ll tell you why,because they didnt want to be seen running in swinging batons at blacks,thats why !...........Football hooligans fighting EACH OTHER are fair game for the ol bill but blacks setting fire to homes and businesses,looting shops for whole nights,no thats too risky...........

I tend to believe we do have the best and most well organised police force when it comes to things like this....................but when their hands are tied by the dogooders and anti racist multicultural f****n nonsense.............it makes them look weak and pathetic.

Just watching the news there and it showed 4/5 guys trying to kick in a shop window and it looked like the owner of the shop was trying his hardest to keep them out. Time the guns were out and any c**t looting like that should be shot on site........disgusting!!!

Spot on. The high street is facing a crisis at the minute as it is. Actions like these will put more financial pressure on already high overhead payments for shopkeepers in the area with increased insurance premiums. We all bemoan that the police should be concentrating on real & proper crime, well what about stepping in to protect peoples property & livelihoods?

 

The rioters/looters should have been stopped at any cost..
