Quick shine tonight,

Recommended Posts

Not the best of nights, but fields are now short and seen a few daytime bunnies feeding right out, going out for a quick hour to sharpen the dogs up and refresh there memories for the new season upon us, wont be dissapointed if we come home with an empty bag but would be nice to see the dog's in action once again, anyone else been out this last week or planning to very soon?

ATB HD.

well i suppose if your wanting to decimate the rabbit population compleaty lamping in summer is the way to go,we do it for the sport still rabbits breeding here, with all the pest controllers about and lads with a pup to get going every year usually the same lads every year its hardly worth bothering, its as bad with terrier lads aswell, digging cubs seems to be the thing to do now.

well im out again tonight, no chance of me decimating the population on my permission with the dog. i have to show willing so im far better off using the dog and getting a couple rather then using the gun and taking 3 or 4 times as many. plus my permissions are lifting with the feckers! and i have to shift a few to keep everyone happy.

3 rabbits, oh yeah I forgot, I've caught all 3 of next season now, might aswell fatten my dogs up and chase lures, come off it lad, it's 3 rabbits, and the 1st time I've been out since last season, the seasons nearly here now, and my area is full of dog lads who have been running the dogs throughout the summer, so I want atleast a chance for my dogs, don't see the big problem myself.
