Couple of hours 2 in bag with self serviced springer....

Recommended Posts

I took out my Stoeger x20 this afternoon for a little re-zero session, this did'nt take longer than a few mins as I had scope off to service gun and trigger recently but rear scope mount has roll pin just tapped 3mm low to sit in gun scope rails arrester hole so no creeping during recoil.

With the gun de-gunked internals polished and reassembled with minimum grease etc unlike the factory that had over lubed as usual but now consistant and no puff of smoke when fired  as gun not had that much use but trigger did need attention as was very heavy pull even ajusted to lightest setting but you may of read my post last or earlier this week that took me 6+ hrs to rebuild after a major spring and sear jump out arrrrrgh :cray:but eventually rebuilt and made lighter pull etc it was time to give her a spin at weekend :)

The zero was almost spot on from the last time as scope went back on in pretty much same place other than cigarette papers difference  so a click here and there put it on mm perfect again.

Anyway a quick wander around the woods and these 2 ended up in the bag  the Pigeon neck shot just below head 20 yrds and Squirrel through the head behind eye at approx 25 yrds and 30feet up.......I was pretty happy with that little session but need more pellets as only had 100 or so RWS superpoints left but still went home with 65 ish
