Cargol 302
4x2 on there edge and notch the timbers to suit the panels. Slip them on and screw the tin to them.I thought about that but the doors open inwards and would catch the way I need the fall on the roof. The roof on mine is clear plastic sheets, and i screwed them straight into the top bar of the panels. Then the first piece of timber support can start just after where the door would catch. I had the same problem to start with as my roof runs off to the back of the runs. Quote Link to post
Daniel cain 45,527
John from gwent galvanizers is a sound fella-rang him with the sizes and had them made in a week also supplied the roof sheets etc.my block of 4 terrier runs with a roof came in under 800 notes.20160929_185646.jpg The gap between the door and panel seems big Daniel is it, Would You run into bother with pups and young terriers? I'd have preferred the hinging to be a bit tighter than it looks, tidy setup tho.I don't keep dogs that grab others(only one place they go)-they won't enter each others runs or boxes-I spend time socialising all my dogs be it terriers or lurchers.not had an accident in over 15 yrs fingers crossed.atb dcI never said anything about grabbing each other or fighting, so your method of socialising isn't in question. I simple ment a handy terrier could get his head out between the gate and panel, and a pup could easily walk through, it's 2" weld mesh, so 2" squares, and judging off the picture I'd be guesstimating that gap is similar size to two squares so around 4".... So I suppose my point that the chap from the galvanisers may be a top bloke but his workmanship is shoddy enough if he needs that much of a gap to hinge 1" box iron!!are you 12 yrs old or something? Good job I don't keep little snipe headed dogs then pal lol .love how you experts can tell so much from a pic-65mm gap-if you got pups that can fit through that you want to bang some grub into them lol, because nothing ive ever bred would fit through that not even at a week old lol-atb dc Edited December 5, 2016 by Daniel cain Quote Link to post
