spot on for fleas

its just av just gettin spot on and used half of it on a pup and instead of wasting it putting a drop or 2 on the ferrets it says it can kill cats so not sure?

From what a vet once told me, dog medication is generally safe for ferrets at the correct doses.

 

Have your ferret got fleas? I personally don't like to treat my animals unless they have a problem.

yea well ive noticed one of the little fekers on one of my ferrets havnt seen any more but whos to say they havnt im going to go have another look now cheers MALT

I pick a hot day and totally clean out the hutches and spray them with a flea spray as well let them totally dry and put the gang back in

I use frontline spot on for cats on my ferrets. Just one or two drops on each ferret, and I've never had a problem.

I used frontline spray last time, if you are using spot on you should use the one for cats, not dogs, thats what the vet told me anyway and my sister(she works there as a vet nurse).

dont use the dog spot on it will kill your ferrets the cat one is ok if you use a little bit the frontline spray is sorted atb troter
